About Queens and related games
Queens on PlayRove
Place one queen in every row, column and colored region. Queens must not touch diagonally, while distant diagonals are allowed. This colored-region variation differs from classical n-queens rules. Choose an 8 × 8, 9 × 9 or 10 × 10 board; use crosses as notes and watch the tutorial when you need a hand.
Nearby diagonals matter
Two queens on neighboring diagonal cells touch and cannot share a board. Queens separated by other cells on a longer diagonal are allowed, as long as row, column and colored-region rules also hold.
