Merge 256 on PlayRove

Slide a four-by-four board up, down, left or right. Matching numbers merge once per slide, and a new tile appears after each valid move. Reach 256 in as few moves as possible. Swipe on the board, use arrow keys, or tap the direction controls.

One merge per slide

Sliding 2, 2, 2, 2 to the left makes 4, 4, then two empty spaces. The two new fours wait until the next move to combine.
